Phase One Complete

Great site visit to BAM Site Solutions Ltd offices at Wellingborough.

The first phase is ready for the BAM team to occupy this Monday morning.

Quality installation by the LGX Team using Kingspan product for a top drawer client .

Well done to the LGX team and now onto the next phase of this exciting site regeneration.

LGX Sponsors Local Football Teams

LGX have become the home match shirt sponsor for PlayR-Pro Football Academy boys team (pictured top) who are competing in the Midland Junior Premier League.

LGX also sponsors Coven United FC Boys football team (pictured directly above) who are managed by our very own Matt Bond.

Studley Castle

Studley Castle... A Moat-ivational Project !

LGX has successfully completed another new project, this time at the stunning site of Studley Castle in Warwickshire.

Working closely with BAM Construction www.bam.co.uk and Fatra UK www.fatra.co.uk , we have replaced eight roof coverings, across all the accommodation blocks. This totalled in excess of 2,000 square meters of fully adhered Fatra membrane.

Well done to the LGX Project Team for an excellent performance with the project delivered on time to the clients satisfaction with an excellent end result.

Yet another successful project completed this time at a Worcestershire school for BAM FM using Fatra single ply fully adhered coverings.

Happy New Year To You All

Wishing a happy new prosperous year to all of our employees, customers, subcontractors and suppliers.

Here at LGX we closed off a very successful 2024 with the completion of extensive refurbishments at Cadbury College (working alongside Speller Metcalfe) plus Bromsgrove South & Crown Meadow Schools (as part of our ongoing Worcestershire Schools maintenance programme with BAM.)

2024 was by far our best year since COVID and we are expecting 2025 to be even better given our strong order book and sales pipeline.

We look forward to continue our strong working relationships as well as with new customers and supply chain partners in 2025.

I hope you all enjoy a healthy and successful 2025 and look forward to delivering together many more first class commercial roofing projects.

New Dudley College Building Completion

New Animal Science Building ready on time for this academic year

Here at LGX we are proud to have played our part in this fantastic new facility being completed on time for Dudley College students to benefit from.

We took successful responsibility for supplying and delivering rainproof solutions to the roof and walls of this new build working closely with Speller Metcalfe.

For those interested in the technical detail LGX fitted 1100 square metres of fully adhered Fatra single ply on a cut to falls insulation system on the roof.

To the walls we added 600 square metres of Rockpanel Natural Rain screen system combined with bespoke aluminium capping, flashings and rainwater proof goods all designed and manufactured in house.

John Doran RIP

My memories of John Doran RIP

This is me today but when I was just 16 years old I had no idea what I wanted to do, pulled up on my little white Suzuki ER50 moped at a local building site run by Tarmac Construction asked for a job they gave me the ‘Start’ as a Chainboy £32.50 a week - wow I was rich!
I met a guy there by the name of John Doran the Site Foreman 10 years my senior. How lucky was I that day this man helped me , guided me and generally gave me good sound advise for many many years. He was such good craic too a real character and became a friend.
John has recently and sadly passed away.
I don’t generally post on personal matters however I’d like to say some 42 years on from that 16 year old boy "Thank you John for everything you did for me you were a major influence in my professional and personal life". God rest JD. ❤️

Another new contract win for LGX

More good news coming out of LGX Roofing & Construction Ltd securing circa 4,000 square metres of roof refurbishment at Cadbury College with Speller Metcalfe Ltd using Axter RBM system. This being the 2nd phase for LGX on campus following the new build of the STEM building completed last year. The project has started for LGX this month. Well done team!
